Bakersfield PD asks community to help identify suspect in bicycle theft near Bakersfield College

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man accused of committing grand theft near the Bakersfield College campus.

On Tuesday, Sept. 16 at around 2 p.m., an adult male stole a high-value bicycle near the Bakersfield College campus, according to Bakersfield police.

Investigators described the suspect as a 30-year-old man who is between 5 feet, 8 inches and 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs 180 pounds.

He has short black hair, a mustache, goatee and sleeve tattoos. He was seen wearing a white T-shirt, brown or gold shorts, long white socks, white shoes and a black backpack…
