Back and forth periods, the physicality was intense, and both teams were putting up a fight. Ethan Cardwell’s fist just grazed Rem Pitlick’s face. It didn’t matter that Pitlick used to be among the ‘Cuda; it was the home opener, and the Barracuda was doing everything to win.

First period
The pace started fast and heated, the ‘Cuda picked up right where it left off with Bakersfield, tense. Bakersfield and San Jose are somewhat of a match.
