Flood Watch, Winter Storm Warning in effect as storm set to bring rain into Kern River Valley, parts of eastern Kern County

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The National Weather Service in Hanford has issued a flood watch and a winter storm warning for parts of Kern County beginning Monday evening.

The flood watch and advisories are in effect from 5 p.m. Monday through 5 p.m Tuesday afternoon. The Winter Storm Warning for higher elevations in eastern Kern County is in effect through 5 p.m. Wednesday.
