BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern County Coroner’s Office identified a man who was shot and killed outside a restaurant in east Bakersfield Tuesday morning.
Jeffery Stevenson, 34, of Bakersfield was pronounced dead at 1:08 a.m. Oct. 14 in the 600 block of Sumner Street, according to coroner’s officials.
Bakersfield police responded to a ShotSpotter activation in the area, where they found Stevenson with an apparent gunshot wound. Stevenson was shot, the coroner’s office confirmed.
