California Highway Patrol investigates major injury crash in northeast Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Multiple people were injured after a single-vehicle rollover in northeast Bakersfield Sunday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Officers were dispatched to Shadow Hills Drive, near Alfred Harrell Highway and Fairfax Road, for a rollover crash just before 8 p.m. on Sunday.

Investigation showed an 18-year-old man from Bakersfield was driving a 2020 white Toyota Camry on eastbound Alfred Harrell Highway in the #2 lane at 80 mph. The driver lost control of the vehicle and it veered to the westbound lane and rolled down an embankment…
