On Tuesday evening, KGET and and The Open Door Network will host a candlelight vigil at Compassion Corner to honor victims and survivors of domestic violence.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and at 5:30 p.m. at Compassion Corner — the corner of 22nd and L streets — survivors will share their stories and there will be a moment of silence in honor of victims.
Attendees are encouraged to bring photos or poster boards with photos of loved ones who died from domestic violence. Purple light — the signature color of domestic violence awareness — will be provided.
