BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The trial for the Visalia woman charged in the death of her 1-year-old son has been postponed again, with both parties saying they don’t have access to the coroner’s report as of Monday.
Maya Hernandez, 20, is facing several charges, including murder and involuntary manslaughter.
Kern County Superior Court Judge John Lua approved pushing back the trial date to Nov. 10 after both Deputy Public Defender Teryl Wakeman and prosecutor Cole Sherman — standing in for prosecutor Stephanie Taconi — said they are having issues with accessing the coroner’s report…
