Man arrested after probation search on First Street

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A man was arrested on First Street after he was found with suspected methamphetamine and a semi-automatic pistol during a probation search.

Officers with the Kern County Probation Department conducted a home call in the 2000 block of First Street on Tuesday.

During the probation search, officers found a man on felony probation who was in possession of suspected methamphetamine in his pocket and a loaded unregistered semi-automatic pistol in his boot.
