BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Three people charged in connection to an extensive EBT fraud ring that stole benefits in Kern County accepted plea deals on Friday.
Norbert Karaba, 35, pleaded no contest to two counts of acquiring credit cards in the names of four or more people with the intent to sell.
Giorgio Marcelo, 29, and Nicolae Bud, 51, each pleaded no contest to one count of acquiring credit cards in the names of four or more people with the intent to sell.
