Binning Manor Spook Alley is celebrating its 10th year as one of the most popular haunted houses in town. Andrew Binning, the haunt creator shared insights about the spooky attraction. “This is the nursery where we keep the youngest kids in the orphanage,” Binning said, describing one of the eerie rooms. He explained that the haunted house becomes even more frightening at night when “everything starts to come to life.”
Binning revealed that his inspiration for the haunted house stemmed from wanting to keep his children safe and entertained on Halloween. “I mostly desire to know where my kids are and what they’re doing at night,” he said.
His children, who started as young helpers, continue to participate as actors. “I actually have a new actor this year. They been coming here for all 10 years,” Binning added.
Each year, Binning Manor features a new theme. This year’s theme is a “Briar Brook Farm Orphanage” where children from the cities back east are sent to work on a farm, but “they never leave.”…
