BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — A pedestrian was struck and killed in the area of Stine Road and Summer Tree Lane on Thursday afternoon, said Bakersfield police.
At around 4:20 p.m., officers arrived at the area of Stine Road and Summer Tree Lane for a report of a vehicle that struck a pedestrian. Officers found a pedestrian suffering from moderate to major injuries. They died upon arrival at the hospital.
