BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The murder trial of a 20-year-old man accused of driving while impaired in a crash that killed a Bakersfield grandmother was postponed Friday after an attorney said there were continuing efforts to try to settle the case.
Karim Reyad, who appeared in court with attorneys H.A. Sala and Forrest Miller, had a new trial date set for Feb. 23. His trial was previously set for next month.
