BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The couple accused of torturing and murdering 8-year-old Genesis Mata are scheduled for trial in December.
Ray Mata Jr. and Graciela Bustamonte had a trial date of Dec. 22 set during a brief hearing Monday. They remain in custody on no bail.
