BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The inmate accused of assaulting the stepmother of slain 8-year-old Genesis Mata in Lerdo Jail has pleaded no contest to a felony assault charge, according to court records.
Anita Doron entered the plea Wednesday, and a second assault count was dismissed, records show. She’s set for sentencing Dec. 11.
