BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Bakersfield City Council approved the drafting of an environmental impact report for the proposed water park in northwest Bakersfield on Wednesday, with council members clarifying the public’s misunderstandings.
The Tortuga Bay Waterpark project would include a water park, golf range, hotels and more on 152 acres in the southeast corner of Hageman Road and Mohawk Street, according to the agenda.
