Charges filed in last year’s shooting at The Marketplace that left teen dead

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — It’s been a year and 10 days since 15-year-old Prince Michael Banner was shot and killed at The Marketplace, but charges weren’t filed until Tuesday.

Albert Briseno Jr., 16, was arrested and charged with Banner’s killing. He was 15 years old at the time of shooting.

Briseno is being held in Juvenile Hall with the case being heard in juvenile court.
