BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Thanksgiving holiday is a time for family and togetherness, and organizations in Kern County are doing what they can to make sure that continues this year.

Delano Police Department-NKSP meal box giveaway
The Delano Police Department, alongside North Kern State Prison officials, is ready for their annual turkey & meal giveaway for members of the community. The giveaway is slated to take place on Nov. 25, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at DPD headquarters, officials said.
