BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — The Bakersfield Police Department is investigating a major-injury shooting at around 9:30 p.m., just west of Calloway Drive and Olive Drive, and a possibly-related crash scene nearby, according to an official.
A house on Tallulah Falls Court had a heavy BPD presence at around 10:50 p.m. A CSI BPD van was also on scene. The status of the person who was shot is unknown at this time.
BPD’s Traffic Unit is investigating a crash between a white pick-up truck and a dark-colored sedan on Calloway Drive and Hageman Road. It’s unknown if anyone was injured in the crash at this time.
