While it is the 20th anniversary of The Elf on the Shelf, the history of the holiday observer has a much longer history for twin sisters Chanda A. Bell and Christa Pitts, co-CEOs and founders of The Lumistella Company and the visionaries behind the holiday tradition.
What has become a massive holiday empire started as a simple family tradition when the sisters were young.
“Our mom and dad had an elf in our home, and that elf was named Fisbee.
