Kern County District Attorney’s Office receives $885K grant to combat impaired driving

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern County District Attorney’s Office has received $885,000 in grant funding from the California Office of Traffic Safety to combat impaired driving.

The grant aims to fund a specialized prosecution team to handle impaired driving cases caused by alcohol or drugs. Through these funds, prosecutors and investigators will receive special training throughout California, according to officials.
