BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — One Classroom At A Time is a scholarship program for teachers grades pre-K to 12th. Teachers can receive $1,000 for their classroom from MOR Furniture For Less and Eyewitness News by telling us what great idea they have for their classroom that can enhance the students learning.
Our latest winner is Christy Zimmerman. She is a teacher at Frazier Mountain High School. She said she is going to use the money to do “galactic gardening,” which is collecting data for NASA for them to grow plants in space.
