BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — In 1962, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital opened its doors, and 63 years later, it continues to change lives.
Jenny, a mother, shared her story of how the hospital saved her son, Dionisio. At just 18 months old, Dionisio hit his head on a coffee table. Instead of healing, the bruise got worse. Like any concerned mother, she took him to the doctor and that led her to St. Jude.
