Competency exam ordered for driver charged in crashes that killed 2

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Criminal proceedings have been suspended and a competency exam ordered for a man charged with murder in connection with crashes on Baker Street that resulted in two deaths.

A judge on Friday ordered Reginald Moland Jr. to undergo the exam to determine if he’s competent to stand trial, according to Superior Court records.

A hearing is set for Jan. 23 to go over the results…
