BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A man charged with murder in a deadly knife and hammer attack on South Brown Street has been ruled incompetent to stand trial.
The determination was made earlier this month in the case of Michael Ryan Williams, who on Sept. 2 allegedly struck and stabbed the victim multiple times.
Williams, 40, is due back in court next month for a hearing on where he’ll be placed while attempts are made to restore him to competency. Criminal proceedings have been suspended…
