BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The owner of a Bakersfield country club that recently closed over suspected marriage troubles was arrested in March after allegedly punching his wife in the face, according to newly obtained court documents.
Rio Bravo Country Club, a golf course in east Bakersfield, announced its closure Jan. 3 until further notice due to “unforeseen circumstances.”
Jeremy Willer, owner of Rio Bravo, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of battery on a spouse and battery on a person in April, Kern County court records show.
