Charges filed against man shot after allegedly pointing gun at BPD officer

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A man who was shot and seriously wounded after allegedly pointing a gun at a Bakersfield police officer has been charged with attempted murder, among other crimes.

Fabian Lopez, 37, was charged Tuesday, records show. No court hearings are scheduled and he’s not listed in custody.

Police have said he was hospitalized in critical condition…
