Volunteers wanted for 2026 Point in Time count

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Bakersfield Kern Regional Homeless Collaborative is asking for volunteers to participate in their annual Point in Time count set for Jan. 28.

The 2026 Point in Time count is an effort to identify and count all individuals who are homeless in Kern County. This includes people sleeping on the streets, in alleys, parks, encampments and any place that is not meant for human habitation.
