Homicide Investigation and Arrest in Kern County
January 13, 2026 – Kern County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on January 11, 2026, at approximately 7:00
a.m., deputies were dispatched to the 5200 block of Olive Tree Court in response to reports of a stabbing victim. Upon arrival, deputies located an adult male suffering from apparent stab wounds. Medical and fire personnel provided aid; however, the victim ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
