BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — The man killed in a wrong-way crash on Highway 14 near Inyokern on Wednesday night has been identified as 23-year-old Joaquin Angel Aguirre of Los Angeles.
The Kern County coroner and CHP reported that at around 10:15 p.m., on Jan. 28, Aguirre was driving a vehicle the wrong way on Highway 14, north of Cow Heaven Road, when he collided head-on with a semi-trailer truck. Aguirre died upon impact.
