BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Kern County Coroner’s Office has identified the man killed after being struck in his electric wheelchair as 77-year-old Dennis Hervey Marineau of Lake Isabella.
The California Highway Patrol said on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at around 5:58 p.m., officers were called to Lake Isabella Boulevard and Crestview Avenue regarding a crash involving a vehicle and a person in an electric wheelchair.
