BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The city of Bakersfield is saying no more to the motel that was home to frequent and numerous fires over the past year.
The Bakersfield City Council is set to approve an agreement with Abateco Incorporated to remove and dispose of materials containing asbestos at the La Mirage Hotel at 525 Union Ave., according to the agenda for the Wednesday meeting.
