BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Kernville went back to the wild west for its beloved annual celebration over the weekend.
People from around Kern County flocked to Kernville for Whiskey Flat Days, which began on Friday. Horses, gunslingers and cowboys walked the streets in a historical reenactment of the mountain community’s past.
Attendees could buy themselves a new cowboy hat, get an old tintype photograph, and hear live music in downtown Kernville.
