CHP officials urge caution while driving on Kern County roads amid Winter Storm Warning

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — As the snow and ice buildup continues in the coming days, unassuming roads can create collisions if dealt with poorly.

“If the roads are glistening and the road looks wet, there’s a good chance you’re going to be driving on a sheet of black ice,” said D.C. Williams, Fort Tejon California Highway Patrol Officer.
