Bakersfield authorities arrested a local man on murder charges following the death of his girlfriend, whose severe injuries contradicted his account of a shower accident.

On February 7, medical personnel rushed 23-year-old Crystal Marie Falcon to Adventist Health Bakersfield around 11 p.m. after she became unresponsive at her residence in the 6400 block of Terrebonne Court.[1][2]
