BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Showering is set to resume at the Lerdo Jail complex following actions taken to address water quality, but the drinking water advisory is still in effect.
Officials with the Kern County Sheriff’s Office said the Kern County Public Health Department have authorized to resume showering. The sheriff’s office has installed filters that remove contaminants from the water.
