BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Several Cal State Bakersfield alumni were honored at Thursday night’s Hall of Fame event.
This year was extra special as it marks the 20th anniversary of honoring the “Runners” who have gone on to change the world.
The Hall of Fame inductees included:
- Jennifer Barrera, president and CEO of the California Chamber of Commerce
- Janie Flores, a dedicated retired educator
- John Mendiburu, Kern County Superintendent of Schools
- Fred Plane, an esteemed adjunct professor
- David Zulfa, Kern County Superior Court judge
