BAKERSFIELD, CA (KUZZ) — A man is dead after being struck by a car as he was lying in the roadway in downtown Bakersfield.
Police responded Friday night to the 2000 block of 24th Street to find the man dead. They say he was struck by a car, but they aren’t sure why he was in the roadway in the first place.
