BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Iranian community of Kern County is expressing its hopes for the country after U.S. and Israeli air strikes killed the longtime ruler Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
“The first thought is that freedom is finally on the horizon again,” said Zack Bashirtash, a Bakersfield city councilmember.
