BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — A gang-related shooting spree in Bakersfield that left two people dead and three others wounded ended with a life prison sentence for at least one of the defendants on Thursday, according to Kern County court records.
Jorge Flores was sentenced to 129 years to life without parole on March 5, 2026, the Kern County court website shows. The sentencing followed a jury verdict announced by the Kern County District Attorney’s Office on Jan. 22, 2026.
