Several community events are planned in Delano this spring. The Delano Elks Lodge will hold officer installations on Tuesday, March 24, with bingo nights on March 12 and March 26, and a Veterans Day breakfast on Sunday, March 22. A St. Patrick’s Day event hosted by Rudy Guerra begins at 4 PM on March 17. The Delano Sports Dinner will take place on Friday, April 17 at the Delano Elks Club, featuring Charles Craig, former head track coach at Cal State Bakersfield, as the main speaker. Tickets must be purchased at least a week in advance.
