The California Highway Patrol said a Lamont man died early Thursday morning in a single-vehicle accident on Elk Hills Road.
The CHP said the preliminary investigation indicates the 30-year-old Lamont resident was driving a Toyota Corolla southbound on Elk Hills Road north of Valley West Road . For reasons still under investigation, the driver of the Toyota Corolla traveled off the roadway onto the east shoulder, overturned and came to rest on its left side, the CHP said.
The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene according to the CHP…
