BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Roads around the area of Cherry Avenue and E. Lerdo Highway in Shafter are closed after an oil spill.
Shafter Police posted about the spill on their social media pages at around 10:30 a.m.
Police said the following road closures are in effect:
- Eastbound E. Lerdo Highway traffic is being diverted at the intersection of E. Lerdo and Beech Avenue
- Cherry Avenue is closed to Northbound traffic at Los Angeles Ave and closed to Southbound traffic at Lerdo Highway.
