BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Kern Autism Network said the facility was broken into with windows being shattered on World Autism Awareness Day.
The Kern Autism Network building is located on Oak Street.
They said on social media that nothing was taken.
“But the impact is still real. This space is more than a building it’s a safe place for families, for children, for connection, for support,” said in the post. “And seeing it violated on a day that’s supposed to stand for awareness and compassion is heartbreaking.”
The non-profit organization is asking the public if they saw anything or has information, to reach out…
