BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — One person is dead, multiple were injured and a man was arrested after a wrong-way crash on Highway 99 in the Delano area Saturday night.
Officers with the highway patrol responded to the area of Highway 99 at Ninth Avenue for a report of a multi-vehicle crash involving a wrong-way driver on Saturday around 9:17 p.m.

Investigation showed a 28-year-old man was driving a 2024 Tesla X northbound on southbound Highway 99 at an unknown rate of speed and was approaching Ninth Avenue.
