BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — The hearing for the two men accused of hitting 34-year-old Justin Leon Randle with a vehicle, beating him to death, and leaving him in the street has been postponed until next month, according to the Kern County court website.
Salvador Daniel Gutierrez and Alberto Felix are accused of murdering Randle in the 1100 block of H Street, when Bakersfield police found his body at around 2:44 a.m. on June 7, 2025.
According to court documents, Felix was in a car with two other suspects when the driver, Gutierrez, allegedly accelerated toward 34-year-old Justin Randle, who was standing alone in a parking lot. Randle was struck and ran away.
Court documents revealed that Felix and Gutierrez then chased Randle toward 11th and H streets, where they allegedly beat him until he lost consciousness. Randle was left in the road and was later run over by an uninvolved driver…
