BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — Bakersfield police arrested a man Tuesday afternoon after he allegedly refused to come down from a roof and was reportedly intoxicated.
Officers responded just after 12:30 p.m. to Mohawk Street, just south of Truxtun Avenue, after receiving a report of a man on a roof, police said.
After nearly two hours, the man came down following what police described as peaceful negotiations. Police said he was arrested and faces resisting arrest and similar charges.
