BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Kern County Coroner’s Office confirmed a man who was found dead in his apartment on Taylor Street was stabbed. He was identified as 60-year-old Michael A Gauthier.
The Bakersfield Police Department said on Wednesday, April 15th, 2026, at around 6:18 a.m., officers were called to the 600 block of Taylor Street for a report of an unknown situation, possibly a medical event inside an apartment.
