BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — With the sentencing Monday of Shugie Rubio, all defendants charged in connection to a shooting on Steele Avenue that killed a bicyclist have been sentenced.
Rubio, who pleaded no contest to assault with a gun and accessory charges, was sentenced to four years and eight months time served and ordered to go to the parole office.
