BALTIMORE (WBFF) — Mayor Brandon Scott’s administration is seeking to dismiss a lawsuit filed by the city’s independent watchdog as the fight continues over access to information for investigations rooting out waste, fraud, and abuse.
In the latest filing, City Solicitor Ebony Thompson argues the complaint from Inspector General Isabel Cumming and her team is “riddled with inapplicable legal citations, self-serving City Hall gossip, immaterial platitudes, and unrelated quotes from respected past City leaders.”
