Civil unrest zone declared at AFRAM Festival after officers assaulted in Druid Hill Park

BALTIMORE (WBFF) — Two officers were assaulted Saturday night during the AFRAM Festival in Baltimore’s Druid Hill Park, police said.

On June 20 just before 8 p.m., officers at the festival responded to incidents involving juveniles throwing objects at police officers as well as a large fight.

Police said officers cleared the area, but two officers were assaulted. At this time, the extent of their injuries is unknown…
